For more than 20 years, I have worked as an online user experience design strategist, information architect, interaction designer and usability engineer across many different industries. While most of my experience is in the financial services and pharmaceuticals industries, I've also done work for companies in telecommunications, manufacturing, services and retail. I have a proven track record of hands-on leadership and contribution to design and development teams that helped companies to conceptualize and realize intuitive and innovative online user experiences.
As an executive in a cross-media experience design consultancy, I interacted at the client executive level to convey and relate the strategic vision and tactical execution of experience design activities from both the creative and functional perspectives across media and channels. I've also helped to grow UX practice groups and centers of excellence, where I mentored and developed junior colleagues.
I champion efforts to help companies develop, institutionalize and employ user-centered experience design methodologies. The processes I help to define encapsulate a breadth of activities from market analysis and customer research, to brand identity development and creative design, to requirements elicitation and functional specification, to detailed creative and interaction design blueprint development, and, finally to prototyping and user acceptance testing.
